FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where can I find a printable legal form (such as Power of Attorney) that I need to be notarized?
Most government forms can be found on the website of government agencies. For non-government legal forms, you may try         legalzoom.com, nolo.com or googling the title of the form. Office Depot/Max and FedEx Office may also have the forms that you are looking for. As a notary, I am not able to choose or prepare the document you may need for a transaction as it will be considered an unathorized practice of law.
How to get something notarized and what to bring to the notary?
        Please check http://blog.123notary.com/?tag=how-to-get-something-notarized
What are acceptable forms of identification?
        Please check http://www.nationalnotary.org/knowledge-center/tips-tutorials/determine-if-id-is-acceptable
What documents cannot be notarized?
        Please check https://legalcatch.wordpress.com/2007/10/03/what-documents-cannot-be-notarized/
Can you notarize foreign-language documents?
A notary public should notarize a document written in a language they can understand. I am fluent in English, Russian, Bulgarian, and Ukrainian. For documents in other languages, please refer to a notary who reads and writes the language  involved in the notarization process. â€‹
Can you certify a copy of my passport?
The answer is No. Texas allows notaries to certify a copy only if the original document is non-recordable. Since a passport is potentially recordable, Texas notaries may not certify copies of passports.
Are you a Medallion Notary?
Unfortunately, I am not a Medallion Notary! In fact, a notary public cannot provide a Medallion Signature Guarantee stamp. This stamp guarantees the financial security transaction and can only be obtained from certain banks, clearing agencies, savings associations, and other financial institutions that participate in a Medallion program of the Securities Transfer Association Medallion Program (STAMP) or the NYSE Medallion Signature Program.
